Ghana Premier League side Aduana FC has confirmed the appointment of Romanian coach Cioaba Aristica as their new head coach.

The Dormaa-based club announced the news on Tuesday, December 10, via their official Facebook page with the message: “Aristica is home. Welcome back, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐛𝐚.”

This decision comes after Aduana FC parted ways with former coach Yaw Acheampong, following a string of disappointing performances that saw the team manage just two wins, six draws, and four losses in the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

Currently sitting in 13th place on the league table with 12 points from 12 matches, Aduana FC faces an uphill battle to regain form and climb the standings.

Coach Cioaba Aristica, who previously had a stint with Aduana FC, brings valuable experience and a deep understanding of the team’s culture. Known for his tactical acumen, he is expected to make an immediate impact and revitalize the Fire Boys’ campaign.

Aristica’s first challenge as head coach will be a Week 13 fixture against Berekum Chelsea, set to take place next weekend. The club and its fans are hopeful that his return will mark the beginning of a turnaround as Aduana FC aims to reestablish itself as a strong contender for the league title.
