The Office of the President has officially unveiled the official portrait of President John Dramani Mahama, an emblem of his leadership and steadfast dedication to the people of Ghana.
In a statement released on January 9, 2025, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Acting Spokesperson for the President, highlighted that the portrait symbolizes national pride, unity, and the core values of Ghanaians, reflecting the President’s vision and commitment to the development of the nation.
The government also emphasized that no company or individual has been authorized to mass-produce framed copies of the official portrait for distribution. The statement clarified, “Ministries, Departments, Agencies, private businesses and companies, and the general public are kindly informed that the Government HAS NOT AND WILL NOT contract any company or individual to produce framed pictures of the official portrait in bulk for distribution.”
The release further called for the public’s cooperation in respecting the government’s stance on the matter.
This official portrait serves as a symbolic representation of the President’s leadership and a visual reminder of the values that drive the progress and unity of the nation.
