Bice Osei Kuffour, popularly known as Obour, has officially stepped down as the Managing Director of Ghana Post, bringing an end to his two-year tenure at the helm of the nation’s postal and logistics service.
Obour, who assumed office on January 4, 2022, described his time as both an honor and a privilege, reflecting on the significant advancements made during his leadership. Under his guidance, Ghana Post saw notable improvements in digitalization, operational efficiency, brand visibility, and financial sustainability, positioning the company as a modern, customer-centric logistics provider.
During his time in office, Obour spearheaded innovative reforms aimed at transforming Ghana Post into a competitive force in the postal and e-commerce logistics industry. His leadership focused on:
✔ Enhancing digital services to streamline postal operations
✔ Improving financial sustainability through strategic partnerships
✔ Boosting brand recognition to reestablish Ghana Post as a trusted logistics service provider
Announcing his resignation via Facebook on March 12, 2025, Obour extended his appreciation to former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for entrusting him with the opportunity to serve. He also thanked Minister of Communications and Digitalisation Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, as well as the Board of Directors, management, and staff of Ghana Post for their unwavering support throughout his tenure.
